Prosciutto and Melon

Elegance is made easy with this perfect balance of sweet melon and savory Prosciutto.


  • 12 thin wedges of seeded cantaloupe or honeydew melon
  • 12 thin slices Margherita® Prosciutto
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze*
  • Chopped fresh sage and sage sprigs (optional)
  • *If not available, substitute a good aged balsamic vinegar.


  1. Arrange folded prosciutto attractively over melon wedges placed on a serving platter. (May be chilled up to 1 hour before serving). Drizzle glaze over all or spoon decoratively around edges of serving platter.
  2. Sprinkle chopped sage over melon and garnish platter with sage sprigs if desired.
